Nala is a sweet, gentle 3-year-old Lab/Bully mix who is finally ready for a life that’s all about her.
After two unplanned pregnancies, Nala spent the first years of her life dedicating her body, heart, and energy to raising beautiful, healthy puppies. Now that her mom duties are behind her, it’s her turn to be the one who’s loved, spoiled, and cherished. She deserves nothing more than a home where she can spend her days playing with toys, soaking up belly rubs, enjoying tasty treats, and napping without a care in the world.
Nala is fully house trained and crate trained, rides beautifully in the car, and gets along well with kids, cats, and other dogs. She’s an easy companion who simply wants to be close to her people.
While Nala is incredibly loving once she feels safe, she can be shy and nervous around new people and unfamiliar situations. Because of this, she’s looking for a calm, quiet home with a predictable routine where she can build confidence at her own pace. Her ideal family will be patient, understanding, and committed to helping her work through her anxiety by introducing new experiences slowly and positively. Watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding.
Like many young dogs, Nala is still working on her leash manners and can pull when she’s excited, so she’ll benefit from continued training, consistency, and positive reinforcement.
