Remy is a spunky, energetic, and very playful pup with tons of confidence and smarts. Being the smaller of the siblings hasn’t worked against him at all while chasing down and wrestling with his sister. Be prepared for very talkative play!
He’s doing very well with house training, preferring to go outside to do his thing, though his water guzzling habits sometimes get the best of him inside. Remy sleeps overnight and during work hours in his crate with very little fuss, and gets very excited when his people are back to hang out.
Remy does well around young children, tested 4+, any dog he meets, and is generally disinterested in cats after a quick sniff. At home, he loves playtime with other dogs, his chew toys, and tennis balls, while outside he’d prefer to dig holes and explore and when he’s run out of energy will gladly lay at your feet for a nap. He’s very attentive on leash and likes to stay by your side.
Remy knows ‘sit’ and ‘down’ when he’s not supposed to be on furniture or jumping up. He does very well learning new commands using treats or praise. He’s even discovered on his own that he can bring you his empty water bowl when he’s thirsty. We’re slowly working on resource guarding and fast eating but this smart little guy will get there in time.
Remy will be an incredible addition to a family with outdoor space for him to run and explore around, and would love a fellow dog friend to learn from.
Remy is up to date on core vaccinations, will come with a microchip and will be adopted on a neuter contract.
