Hello future family,
My name is Enzo and I’m a 3-year-old doodle weighing about 40lb. I’ve been told I’m handsome, smart, and incredibly cuddly. Personally, I think my greatest achievement is being able to switch seamlessly between Outdoor Adventure buddy and Professional couch snuggler.
I love being outside. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, a hike through the woods, or just exploring all the exciting smells nature has to offer, I’m happiest when I’m out on an adventure with my people. I believe every stick deserves inspection and every squirrel requires a greeting. Scientific research, you understand.
When I’m at home, I’m a pretty relaxed guy. You’ll usually find me curled up on the couch or dog bed. Morning cuddles and evening cuddles are all very important parts of my routine.
I’m fully house trained and crate-trained, and I can comfortably stay at home alone for up to 7-8 hours alone in or out of the crate. Like many food lovers, I occasionally find unattended snacks impossible to ignore, so keeping tasty things out of reach is a wise choice. I also take my role as a Household Security Officer very seriously. If someone walks by the house or a squirrel looks suspicious, I’ll let everyone know. You’re welcome.
I do have some anxiety so I can startle easy, and it can take some time for me to warm up. I like children and would love to be a part of a family but older kids would be best due to my anxiety. I also enjoy meeting other dogs and genuinely want to be friends with everyone. Sometimes I get so excited that I forget my manners and bark and pull when on leash, but I am working on training with my foster humans and am getting better each day. Cats are still a mystery to me. I think we’d be friends but I would need slow introductions while I figure out the rules.
I’m a Velcro dog as I love being close to my family and involved in whatever they are doing. I’m healthy, affectionate, loyal, and ready for my forever home. If you’re looking for a dog whole loves adventure time as much as cuddle time, I might be your guy.
