Meet Sola! At 8 years young, this beautiful bully girl has perfected the art of living well. A certified couch potato, Sola loves lounging in the comfiest spot she can find and keeping an eye on household activities.
Sola is happy with 2–3 walks a day and can be left alone for a full workday without any accidents. While she is crate trained, she’s non-destructive in the home and can be left free to relax on the couch. She’s also very food motivated! If she could counter surf she would, anything left on a coffee table is fair game. She has been known on occasion to knock a garbage over.
Sola absolutely adores scratches and affection, and if you happen to stop before she’s ready, she’ll politely (or not-so-politely) remind you with a paw. Consider yourself warned.
Oh, and this lady can have opinions, and she’s not afraid to share them. She can be quite vocal when she feels she’s been unfairly excluded from the action, like being left inside while you’re mowing the lawn, or suffering the ultimate indignity of riding in the cargo area of an SUV instead of the back seat. Starting dinner but haven’t fed her? She’ll remind you.
Sola comes with a few maintenance requirements. She has allergies that are well-managed with daily Apoquel and a veterinary-prescribed hydrolyzed diet. She recently had several lumps removed, including a mast cell tumour that was caught early and successfully removed with clean margins. She currently has a clean bill of health.
