Athos is a total heart throb. He will charm you with his awesome tricks and cuddle in to steal your heart. He wants nothing more than to be your shadow and go on adventures together.
Athos is very outgoing and loves to visit stores, go for drives and meet new friends. He is a fantastic jogging partner and apart from occasional excited reactivity he has good leash manners.
Athos would do best in an active household where he gets structured exercise each day. He is very affectionate and tolerant which will make him a great family dog once he grows out of his puppy energy, for now he would do best in a home without small children.
Athos is a total teenager; he even talks back. Fortunately, he is very intelligent and has made amazing progress with his manners and skills. Athos loves training and would happily be your partner in dog sports or just learning fun new tricks. He is always up for a good game of tug, playing with his foster brother or will happily chill and chew on a toy.
Athos has some separation anxiety which will require continued work. He has very quickly learned to enjoy his crate/nap time when a person is in the house, with more practice and routine he will do well in his crate during prolonged absences. His house training is becoming reliable, but he will need help by staying on a consistent schedule.
Athos is neutered, microchipped and up to date on core vaccinations.
