Name: Todd
Age: 7-8months
Breed: Lab Mix
Size: Large (expected to be 60+lbs, still growing)
Sweet Todd is a picture-perfect poster pup! He had a rough start before coming into our care, but he has done incredibly well and is now ready to find his furever home! He is a rambunctious ball of energy destined to be a great family dog. His antics are sure to bring you lots of smiles and make fond memories for everyone as he grows up.
Todd is crate trained and well on his way with house training. Like many puppies, he still has the occasional accident, but he has made great progress with his foster family and continues to improve each day. He is very food motivated and eager to please, which makes training both rewarding and fun.
Todd enjoys at least an hour of outdoor exercise every day, including walks and games of fetch. He also loves stuffies and frozen Kongs, which help keep his busy puppy brain engaged. When he gets excited, Todd may jump, but this is already improving with consistent training. After a good play session, he is more than happy to curl up with his family for some well earned snuggles.
Todd currently lives with a senior Yorkie and does very well walking alongside him on leash. Inside the home, the dogs are mostly kept separate simply because Todd’s joyful big-puppy energy can be a bit much for a tiny senior companion. With his playful and social nature, Todd would likely thrive in a home with another fun-loving dog who can match his enthusiasm. For the same reason, he may be best suited to a home with older children who are comfortable with an active puppy.
Todd is eager to learn, and we strongly encourage adopters to pursue formal training to help him build confidence, manners, and lifelong skills that will set him up for success.
Todd is up to date on core vaccinations, microchipped and will be adopted out on a neuter contract.
