Hello Heeler lovers! My name is Dingo and I’m a quintessential Australian Cattle Dog. I have lots of energy, love to mooooove, and I’m incredibly smart. I’m looking for a person to be all mine, as I get very attached. Treat me with love and kindness, and give me fun things to do every day, and I’ll be your constant companion.
I’d thrive living with a human partner who wants to do anything and everything together: agility, rally-o, treibball, hoopers, you name it. I’m a pretty serious and intense guy, but I have a soft side too. Once you’ve made it to the couch, expect to be cuddled, cause my fave thing of all is to be curled up there beside you. I can sleep happily all night in my crate, or if you’ll let me on the bed, I’ll prove to you that I’m a super quiet and polite sleeping companion. That is until its morning and time for a quick snuggle and then more WALKS! Oh, one extra note – I love to chase little moving things, so it’s probably best if I don’t live with a cat. I’m also not keen on young, busy humans. Another calm, polite dog would be fine with me though. Just so long as I still get to dedicate myself to my person.
Dingo came into care with a medical issue that is now resolved, however he will need to be kept on a special diet for life. He will also require regular urine checks and ultrasounds to ensure he remains free of any re-occurrences. He has recently developed itchy feet, and may have some seasonal allergies. At this time, he is taking medication to manage it.
Dingo is microchipped, up to date on core vaccines and neutered.
