Don’t let her small dainty appearance fool you. Rio is full of sass and lots to say. She likes to do things on her terms and will tell you when she doesn’t want to.
Rio loves toys and is super food motivated. She wasn’t a big fan of her crate to start but now understands it’s where the food comes from and will choose her crate (sometimes staying in her crate when she doesn’t need to). She lives with other dogs of all shapes and sizes and is friendly and social. She also lives with 2 cats but hasn’t had a lot of exposure to them.
Rio sleeps overnight in her crate and is working on not having accidents in the house. Sometimes she just can’t make it outside in time. She does well in the car and has experienced new people and surroundings to start to socialize.
Rio is very affectionate with her people and loves a good cuddle. She would much prefer cuddling with her people than playing with her dog brothers. Rio has not been introduced to many children, but is young enough and eager to learn that with training can adapt.
Rio will make the perfect addition to any high energy family but will require a strong leader to ensure she grows into a respectable doggo.
Rio is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and will be adopted on a spay contract.
