Overview:
This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.
Volunteer transporter drivers will transport both dogs and supplies for the rescue in their personal vehicle. We have both short haul and long haul opportunities available. If you’re only interested in staying local, that’s okay too! You get to choose what opportunities suit your interests and schedule.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Helping to transport dogs to and from foster homes or vet appointments, picking up high value donations, delivering supplies to foster homes etc.
- Volunteers will receive Lost Dog Prevention (LDP) training and will be expected to follow protocols when transporting dogs. Failure to comply with LDP policies will result in removal from the team.
Required Skills:
- A love for dogs!
- A valid drivers license and safe driving record.
- Your own vehicle.
- Proficiency in Google maps.
