Hi I’m Jack, known as One Eyed Jack because one of my eyes never grew in. That’s ok though, because I get along just fine! Sometimes when I’m excited I might bump into things because I’m not paying attention, but otherwise it doesn’t bother me at all!
My foster mom says I’m a big suck. I LOVE to cuddle, and be close to my humans. I love people! When on walks I want to meet every human and dog I see. Mom has started to use a no pull harness on our walks, because I can get excited when I see other people and dogs. I’m super gentle when I get to meet them though, and just want scritches!!
I sleep in my crate while my family is at work, but am allowed to roam at night. I’m a good boy and sleep through the night.
One of my favourite things to do is chew on hard toys or antlers. Please no soft toys as I will eat the pieces! I haven’t met a food or treat I don’t love, well maybe lettuce! I’m learning new things so please be patient with me. I’m still practicing how to sit and wait for food and treats, and will only take treats super gently when presented.
I’ve been working on house training. It was tricky at first but I will go out in the yard now, although I prefer to go on even a short walk to do my business. I just love all the smells outside!
If you’re willing to give me cuddles and scritches daily, then I would love to come live with you! I love my foster smaller brother and big sister, so will do well with other dogs, as well as older children.
Jack is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
