Hello! I’m Clifford, and I’m a good boy with a big heart! I may have a bit of grey fur, but I’m full of youthful energy. I have excellent manners both on and off-leash, and my recall is perfect! I love to carry a toy or find the perfect stick on walks, and I LOVE to play fetch. I even like to take my favourite toy to bed with me at night.
I’m fully house-trained and a quiet, polite gentleman at home.
While I’ve been crate-trained, I don’t need to use it—I much prefer snoozing on my dog bed while my foster family is at work.
I happily greet all people and dogs when meeting .I enjoy running with my foster sister, though I prefer not to engage in rough play with other dogs—I’m too mature for that.
When I first came into foster care I had lost all my fur but it has grown back beautifully into a stunning silver brindle coat. People say I’m handsome all the time!
I do have an old injury that causes a slight limp, especially if I overdo it, so I’ll need arthritis medication for the rest of my life to keep me comfortable. But don’t worry—I still love to run, take long hikes, and I’m even a great swimmer!
In the evenings, I’m a cuddle bug and love curling up on the couch with my foster family. I’m also a fan of lazy mornings, staying in bed until the last person gets up—but once breakfast is mentioned, I’m up and ready to go!
I have so much love to give and can’t wait to meet my furever family and finally have a place to call my own.
Clifford is up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered.
