Name: Bella
Age: 5 years old
Breed: Lab Mix
Bella is a 5-year-old lab mix with a heart full of love, a body full of wiggles, and impressive bilingual skills! After overcoming some significant health challenges, Bella was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease, a condition that requires a small daily low-cost medication. With this managed, she’s ready to live her best life with a loving family.
Bella adores her people, her toys, and her doggy friends. She loves playing fetch with her favorite ball. She has a special talent for picking out new toys and is gentle with them, and is rarely destructive. One of her quirkiest skills? She’s learned how to open the screen door to let herself in from the backyard—though she hasn’t quite mastered closing it yet! This smart girl also knows commands in both English and French. She will impress you with her intelligence and her ability to follow commands in two languages!
Bella is full of personality, and her whole body shows her excitement when she greets you. Her unique vocalizations and wiggles will bring a smile to your face every time. While she’s working on staying calmer when meeting her favorite people, Bella is already crate-trained and well-behaved on car rides. She would thrive in a single-family home environment, where her playful energy and occasional vocalizations won’t disturb neighbors.
Bella can be a little over-excited around other dogs on walks, but with the right guidance and training, she’s making great strides. On the other hand, she does very well meeting dogs in off-leash settings like a backyard and would love a playful dog companion to help her feel secure when her people aren’t home.
Bella’s ideal home would be one with experienced dog owners who can continue her training and provide her with a low-stress environment. While she adores people, she may be a bit too energetic for homes with young children.
If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving dog with lots of personality and heart, Bella might just be the perfect addition to your family.
Bella is spayed and up to date on core vaccinations.
