Hi everyone my name is (Steeeeeve) Darwin!! I’m a 10 month old Chihuahua/terror mix 😃 When I came into care with a broken elbow, the doctors weren’t sure if they could save it. But after a successful surgery and some rehab and TLC, the day has finally come where I’m ready to rock and roll…and run!! And boy do I ever run. Foster mom still has to remind me to slow down sometimes because I love to run around with my big foster brothers.
Like a typical chihuahua I love to follow you around and cuddle in for a good nap. One of my favourite places to sleep is under the blankets at bedtime, right next to my people. I love life! I love being outdoors, and chewing on sticks. I love kids and adults and even cats too! And I love going for car rides.
I do bark when someone is at the door, or when I hear a strange noise, but I’ve also learned that it’s not polite to bark. I will need someone who is going to spend lots of time with me as I’m used to being around people or animals. Maybe someone who works from home. I could definitely use another buddy in the house and a big yard to run around in!! I am housetrained, crate trained and walk great on a leash too!
Darwin is neutered and up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.
