🔸Consider how much time you are away from home – young puppies cannot be left alone for long periods. If you work outside the home, you must have a plan to ensure the puppy is not left alone too long.
Aloha! I’m Maui, the sweetest and most gentle puppy you’ll ever meet!
I love company and am comfortable around my foster sisters, babies and young kids. I’m smart and catch on quickly. I’m working on learning my name, and basic commands such as “come”, “sit”, “outside”, “stay” & “leave it”. I’m doing well with my potty training and rarely have accidents inside the house.
At night, I snuggle up in my cozy crate, but honestly, I’d prefer to keep a close eye on my favourite people. I’ll voice my displeasure if I’m anxious but will calm down and settle after a while so I will need ongoing, positive crate training reinforcement. My curious nature can sometimes lead me down the path of mischief as I’m still a puppy & learning the ropes, so I’ll need consistent guidance from my loving leaders.
I love pouncing on bouncy balls and teething on rope toys. I enjoy rolling around in the grass and taking in all the smells. I’m very patient on leash walks but can be timid if approached by a strangers I don’t know.
My foster family says I’m a very good girl and whoever adopts me will be lucky to have me be a part of their ohana.
Maui is up to date on all age appropriate vaccines and will be adopted on a spay contract.
