My name is Haven. I’m a 6-year-old boxer, and I have been told I am the best girl! Since I am a bit of an older girl I prefer to just lay around in the cool house with my humans (preferably snuggling on the couch). I am a very affectionate, loving girl who kindly requests love in the form of butt scratches constantly. If I’m told its okay, I will jump on the bed or on the couch and lay right beside or even on my humans, for the best cuddles. Just because I do enjoy lazy days does not mean I don’t LOVE off-leash running, and I have a pretty good recall! I’m great on-leash too, I am not a puller and I love to just walk right beside my human. I am a very simple girl, and do not really like to play too hard inside the house. I am a very gentle pup, especially with my toys (my baby frog is my favourite).
When I am told to go lay down or to give my humans some space, I may give some sad eyes, but I’ll listen. I am great with strangers and guests coming into the home. If they knock or ring the doorbell, I’ll give a good bark just to let you know someone is at the door, and sometimes a few more after just to make sure you really know! I am very house trained and would love to be able to roam around the house instead of being in a crate if left alone. Whenever my foster humans would go to work for the day, I never made a mess or got into anything I wasn’t supposed to. I am good with kiddos, but I do not enjoy playing rough. I’m also good with cats but need slow introductions to other dogs.
Haven is spayed and up to date on vaccines.
