  • After completing the application form, a non-refundable application processing donation of $5.50 CAD will be the final step to submitting an adoption application for Bristol. Applications will not be processed until the donation is received. As a small team made up entirely of volunteers, we dedicate a great deal of time to each application received and encourage applicants to ensure they are prepared to welcome home a rescue dog before applying. Your application donation will go towards our monthly vetting and food expenses for pups in care. **
  • Please read this carefully if you are considering applying.
  • Please remember before applying, a puppy is a BIG responsibility that will require your time, patience, & training.
  • Consider how much time you are away from home – young puppies cannot be left alone for long periods. If you work outside the home, you must have a plan to ensure the puppy is not left alone too long.

Hi there! My name is Bristol. I’m a 12 week old female golden doodle. I’m currently about 10lbs and I have lots of energy! I love people and I love to play! It’s so fun to be outside because I see lots of people and I want everyone to say Hi. I’m very friendly and love attention. Since I’m still a puppy, I am still learning my manners and working on commands. The good news is I’m food motivated. I learn quickly. I am doing very well with my house training and rarely have accidents in the house. I will let you know when I need to go out, even if it’s in the middle of the night.

I am crate trained and I sleep quietly in the crate all night. I will also quietly chill out in my pen during the day when my foster family is busy and can’t keep their eyes on me. As long as I have a soft bed and some toys, I’m happy! I love my toys! I’m still learning what is my toy and what is not. It’s confusing and sometimes I chew on things I’m not supposed to. I’m not much of a cuddler yet because I just want to play and explore.

I’ve been able to meet a few dogs and while I can be a bit shy at first, I quickly warm up and love when they play with me! I’m still learning about walking on leash. I walk best with a harness but since I’m a puppy I don’t like to go too far so when I feel like I’m done walking, I’ll just sit or lay down in the grass.

I am looking for a family that is looking for a forever friend. I’m the sweetest little teddy bear and everyone loves me!

Bristol is up to date on age appropriate vaccines and will be adopted on a spay contract.
