Hi my name is Myrtle. I am a 6 year old Maltese mix.
I had a very rough start to my life but I’m adjusting well to living in a happy home. I am a very quiet pup, you’ll be lucky if you hear a peep from me!
I can be shy around new people and dogs but once I’m comfortable, I am very friendly. I love to eat, cuddle, and watch TV. I am very curious and like to follow my foster mom around the house, and watch her every move.
I have been working very hard on my potty training, but still have accidents sometimes when I’m excited or scared.
I have a very sensitive stomach, and am currently on a non-poultry diet. I was recently spayed, and while I was in surgery they took out a bunch of my teeth so will need to be on a soft food only diet.
I have been working hard on my separation anxiety, but still get upset when my foster mom goes somewhere without me. I think being in a home with a confident dog would be a good fit for me.
