Breed: Manitoba Mix

Hiya! My name’s Solo!

I came all the way from Northern Manitoba, where I had been “solo” (hence the name). I was one of three pups that came to ODR from Manitoba, but heartbreakingly my foster puppy sister and her two brothers got very sick with parvo and didn’t make it. My foster mommy says I’m so lucky that I stayed healthy and I feel pretty lucky because I have just been LOVING life!!

I have three human foster siblings that I adore! Truth be told, I really love all people!! I also have two BIG foster dog brothers. At first I was nervous, but very curious. Watching them was my favourite thing to do, but now I’m a big guy (already over 20 lbs), so I do all the big guy things! We play, we wrestle, we take turns chasing each other, we go for walks on leashes and play tug! We eat all our meals together and play outside for hours! And when the day is done and I’m exhausted from keeping up with the big guys, they even let me snuggle. If I could have a doggy brother or sister in my forever home, I think that would be the absolute best thing ever!

Speaking of the best, my foster mom says I’m the bestest puppy she’s ever had (and she’s had quite a few!). I am calm, confident, playful, smart and sweet! I’m working so hard on my housetraining. If I can’t make it outside, I’m always guaranteed to go on a puppy pad. I always come when called and even know how to sit! I sleep in my pen all night and go in there during the day when I can’t be monitored and I never make a peep!

My foster mom says I’ll be a hard one to let go, but that it will make her so happy for me to find a family to love and who will love me forever; I think that will make me super happy too!

Solo will be adopted on a neuter contract and is up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations.
