Lizzie is a sweet pocket 1 year old American Bully. She’s been working hard learning manners, shaping behaviours, walking on leash and most of all working with adult dogs. She’s a complete spitfire who loves to run, play and explore on her own. She is good off leash in the yard until she is distracted by the others dogs, then she loves to play. Lizzie is crate trained and house trained. She is good with other dogs. She is still very much a puppy and loves to snuggle!!!!!
Her health was a major concern upon intake as she was very weak in the front ankled. But, that never stopped her from enjoying puppy life and all that was offered. While in foster care her foster made some major changes in her diet and therapy plan to help her along. Lizzie is on a Raw diet with veggies, natural sources of probiotics and vitamins to meet her needs to support growth, muscles and bones. Recently we have added kibble ( Inukshuk – Marine16 ). Within just one week of coming into care and changing her diet we started to see a drastic change in her health and mobility. Her foster took her to physiotherapy and hydrotherapy appointments to get additional support for her limbs. The Physio and swimming had proved to be very beneficial to her progress.
Now, Lizzie is getting the physical exercise that she needs to maintain her health and development in adulthood, along with the proper diet. She loves to swim with the support of a life jacket/harness and humans, hanging out with her people and loves chews toys too!
Her ideal home must have Bully experience. Someone who is home often or works from home. Lizzie is fine with dog savvy children. She can be only dog, but would also do well with another pooch friend who can keep up with her. She has attended structured daycare which has been very beneficial. New family must be able to to continue with raw diet and activity to keep her busy.
Lizzie has so much love to give and share and we would love for her to have her own family.
Juvenile classes from T&T Dogs Unleashed will be offered to the adoptive family.
Lizzie will be spayed and is up to date on all vaccinations.
