Hi! I’m Rachel!
I’m a timid, but sweet and loving 9-month-old terrier mix (~30lbs) from southern California.
While it took me a bit to “warm” up to the snow, I’m happy to be here. When I get nervous or new people come into my house, I will retreat to my crate (my safe space), but I’ll come out when I’m ready. I love relaxing on my dog bed. I don’t chew on stuff I’m not supposed to, and I don’t jump on people/furniture.
I’m fully house trained. I rarely bark and only whimper quietly when I want attention. I am very gentle and love getting affection from the kids in my foster family. I sleep quietly in my crate and go in willingly when its bedtime.
I enjoy short walks and will come to the door when I see the leash. Outside, I’m very well mannered when I meet strangers or other dogs. I think when the snow melts, I’ll be happy to go on longer, more adventurous walks. My fosters think I would be happiest with a family with another dog that likes to play. I recently went to a fenced Dog Run and had a blast. I was on my best behavior, and was so happy to be free and to get in some high intensity cardio. I love to run, so I’d be happy with an owner who would run with me.
