Age: 4 years
Breed: Chi mix
Four year old Benito came in with some medical issues which are now taken of, and he’s looking for his perfect furever home.
He may look like a chihuahua but he is really a piece of Velcro that likes to be attached to you to cuddle and gaze lovingly into your eyes.
Benito is housetrained and likes to go out every 3 or 4 hours, so would prefer his person be home more often so they are available to read his cues. He will often use the crate to chill during the day but is non destructive when left alone for short periods of time.
Benito is pretty chatty when his foster brother barks or he hears the doorbell so a detached home would probably be best. He loves people and will bark to say “come here and love me”.
He likes other dogs, and cats and children as long as they know he’s a little guy. He likes to walk on leash but prefers to be carried in the cold. In the winter, he goes outside, does his business and races back in the house.
Benito wins the heart of everyone he meets, he is sweet and loving and generous with his belly. He is very smart but does need occasional reminders, for example, he loves to be in the kitchen and needs to be reminded to watch from his bed.
Benito is fully vetted and Neutered.
