My name is Copley and I’m an adorable little Potcake girl all the way from Antigua. I’m as happy as they come and my tail never stops wagging. When I’m really excited, you will catch a glimpse of my goofy smile. As happy as I am, I’m also a bit on the submissive and timid side when meeting new people or in new situations.
Loud noises, like traffic sounds startle me when going for walks so my leash skills are a work in progress. I’ve learned to ring a bell to be let outside but, I’m still working on my potty training. Patience, and someone who is home most of the day would be good to help me continue with this.
I’m very quiet and rarely bark. I also do great sleeping in my crate at night. When it comes to other pets in the home I’m a little unsure about larger dogs when I see them walk past my foster house.
As for cats, I can’t understand why they don’t enjoy being chased because I just want to play. Go figure! Because I’m still teething, older kids are best for me. Little fingers are just too hard for me to resist. I am ready to meet my forever family and can’t wait to begin the next chapter of my life!
Copley is fully vetted and will be adopted on a spay contract.
