Naomie (NimNim) is a 5 year old lab mix all the way from the streets of Lebanon! She is adjusting well to life in Canada, and she is looking for a family who will offer her infinite cuddles.
She is fully housetrained and has not had any accidents in her foster home! She is still working on perfecting her house manners (a small amount of sniffing at the dinner table, barking at noises & people outside, etc.) so she is looking for a family who will continue being patient and consistent with her as she learns the rules.
She enjoys going on walks and meeting other dogs and people. Her absolute favourite thing to do outside is try and say hi to every squirrel she sees! Her foster family is working on redirecting her attention, but she is very focused and very strong. Her new family will need to continue working on this with her.
She hasn’t quite figured out how to play with toys, people, or other dogs, and she’d much rather snuggle next to you on the couch. Don’t stop petting her too soon though! She is quite insistent when she thinks she hasn’t gotten enough scritches and she isn’t afraid to let you know.
She picks up and mirrors the emotional state of dogs around her, so would do best in a house as the only dog (more attention for her!) or with a calm, well-behaved fur-sibling.
