NAME: MinMin

This sweetheart of a puppy is MinMin, a 16 week old Potcake all the way from Barbados! She weighs in at 12 lbs and growing.
She’s a little timid at first but quickly warms up to people. She loves playfully chasing the cats in her foster home and, though they don’t share the love, she shows no aggression towards them. When not chasing the cats she loves chasing a ball. She may be ok with smaller dogs who are tolerant of crazy puppy behavior but is fearful of larger dogs and takes a while to get comfortable with them. Respectful children would probably be fine but she is easily startled by loud noises.
MinMin is as quiet as a mouse while sleeping in her crate at night when she can see her humans but will bark a LOT when you are not in view. For this reason she is not suitable for apartment living. Continued crate training by her adoptive family will be necessary for her safety. She’s a puppy after all and finding things to chew is her new favourite hobby. She can scale baby gates with ease.
She can also be described as a ‘puppy power pooper’ so is best suited to a family where someone can be home to let her out frequently throughout the day. She is doing fabulously with her potty training and has had very few accidents in the house. Watching for her cues is the key to her continued success. She also knows a few basic commands like ‘sit’, ‘down’ and ‘shake a paw’ and is learning to ring a bell to be let out. This girl has proven to be a very quick learner.
