My name is Hemingway and I’m a super sweet 10 year old westie mix. I am a blind boy, but I’m not sure what all the fuss is about. I get around just fine and my nose helps me figure out just about everything. Obviously, if I’m in a new place, I’ll need a bit of time to navigate everything and I could use your help to begin with so that I don’t bump into things.
My favourite thing is to go for walks and I’m really good on the leash. I love to be right by your side and will follow you wherever you go. I need a home where someone is home most of the day as I don’t like to be left alone. I will bark when someone comes to the door, but I quiet down quickly once I am greeted.
I am housetrained. I know sit, wait, and come. I need a house with a fenced backyard so I can walk around by myself. I love people and like to give kisses but need slow introductions to new dogs. I get along great with my current foster siblings. I love snuggles and being pet.
I’m looking for a quiet home to relax and just be loved.
Due to allergies, Hemingway is on a special diet. He is also on Apoquel to help control these allergies although may not need it long term as a special diet may be enough.
Hemingway is fully vetted and Neutered.
