Name: Wanda
Age: 10-ish years
Breed: Min Pin
Hey everyone…this is Wanda. She is looking for somewhere sweet to live out her senior years. Wanda was dumped after a pretty horrific life …we figure she is about 10 years young and is pretty spry considering she has spent most of her life in a crate. She has gained some muscle and is walking so much better. She is blind and her hearing isn’t so good either but she’s pretty good at figuring out the lay of the land, and where to find the food bowl.
She’s a sweet little bug who loves to cuddle on you or near you, but will take herself to her crate for her naps. Slow movements and a soft touch are needed as she startles easily but, once she knows you, she cuddles right next to you. She is not great with kids – when startled or nervous she can be a bit snappy. She tolerates other dogs and cats when she gets used to them.
Wanda does have a small mammary mass that was just found but due to the fact that she has already been through a spay, an enucleation, and a dental, the vet has recommended that for now it is just monitored.
This wee one has been through a lot. She’s looking for a loving, quiet home to just relax and enjoy life.
