Hi, My name is Groot, and I am a super sweet, loving, happy, little old man. I had a bit of a rough go, medically, but am doing great now. I was very underweight, but my foster family, found the perfect special diet for me (Groot Slurry!!) which helped me get to a good weight and maintain it. I also had a skin issue, but with lots of care and cleaning, it is almost 100% resolved. My fur is looking fantastic, and I’m feeling great. I even play with toys now because my energy level is so much better. I’m not so much a beautiful disaster anymore!
I’m looking for a home where people are home most of the time and are able to provide the care I need, which includes my special meals 4-5 times per day, washing after each meal, and I also need some medication for my heart murmur. I’m not 100% house trained, but that’s mostly because my vision is quite poor, so finding pee pads and doors is a bit tough for me. If you put me outside often, I’m happy to do my business out there. I love my people, and want to snuggle with them as much as possible. It would be best if my new family enjoys being drooled on, as that is my best skill. I really love my foster home, but I can’t wait to find my new furever family. Also, I am Groot.
