This is Spritz, a small female German Shepherd mix from Texas. She is approximately 1 year old and healthy . A big snuggle bug, she loves life and children (well actually people of any age ) and dogs too. Cats are a NO due to prey drive.
For such a young dog she is very gentle, takes her treats very politely. I think a family with children would be ideal. She loves to play and romp.
Her leash manners are very good but if frightened she will walk between your legs. Her confidence outside is building and doesn’t even pull on her leash.
Spritz sleeps in her crate all night without issue. During the day, however, she has gotten upset and ripped up her bedding. So crating needs to be worked on.
Her recall is not always perfect but she is not running away she just likes squirrels and bunnies. She enjoys the off leash dog park that is fenced which gives her time to release the energy a year old puppy has. Obedience classes would be a good idea.
She is not allowed on furniture which normally she abides by but she does think she is a lap dog so if given the opportunity she will be up for a quick snuggle.
Spritz is house trained and took only 2 days to get the idea that outside is best.
