Hi. My name is Owen. I am a neutered 11 month old Great Dane/Shepherd mix boy.
I am really well behaved when meeting new people and other dogs. I love to bounce around and play and especially roughhouse with other dogs. I have lots of energy and love walks and belly rubs. I especially love snuggle time and cuddling on a blanket. I do not go on furniture and am scared of stairs at times.
Loud noises can scare me, like lawnmowers! I am not the greatest at recall but would love a family that has the patience to help me learn. I do stand tall and can escape sometimes but I am easily handled. I do love chasing squirrels and chipmunks and can pull hard. A strong arm is needed for me for those times that I pull and I need guidance and structure as well. I am still a puppy and still learning, so I need a good teacher.
I am also very quiet and only bark if danger is near. I am great in a crate and am house trained. I love to sit and give a paw for treats or just for your loving attention. I enjoy outdoor time a lot and would be great in a fenced in backyard.
