Hi my name is Mio and I’ve made the journey all the way from Texas to find my furever home. I’m an 11 months old terrier mix, but people tell me that I have a bit of boxer in me. I weigh about 28 pounds, but still have a bit of growing to do. I love playing with my foster sister. We play ALL of the time. I also like to go on long walks with my foster family.
My foster mom says I need to learn my manners, as I have some bad habits, but I’m a puppy so you’re going have to work with me to help me change my ways. So far, I have learned to sit. I also have to sit to get out of my crate and to get my meals.
My foster family is working really hard on helping me with my house training. It’s still a work in progress, but I am getting there. I am crate trained, so no accidents in my crate.
I love playing a lot. It can be with chew toys, bones, or just about anything. I also love to play tug with my foster sister. We seem to like the same toys. LOL.
Some other things you should know about me are: I’m a digger. I’m a fast eater, but I will need a special bowl to slow me down. I like to chase the squirrels in my backyard. I’m a really good jumper; I jumped the baby gate to get to my foster mom.
Once I get to know you, I will give you lots and lots of kisses. Everyone I meet tells me I am a great girl. Do you think I could be part of your family?
