I am Maverick! I came all the way from Texas to find my forever home.
My foster mom says I’m awesome. I’m just a chill dude. I don’t need a lot of exercise but I like walks, playing fetch and chasing squirrels. I do have bursts of energy especially when it’s time to eat!
I’m working on not jumping up, but I just get so excited when I wake up and see my people.
I’m crate trained, house trained, and I’m really good in the car. I just lay down and sleep until the ride is over.
I love people, dogs, and I’m good with dog friendly cats. I don’t realize how big and strong I am, so older kids and medium size dogs and up are better for me. I am working on not pulling on my leash but the squirrels just tease me!
I like to help with chores. I will pick up any socks around the house for you. I love socks. I’m still a big puppy so I need chew toys to keep me busy.
I have mastered “sit”, and we are still working on my basic commands.
I’m still learning about personal space. I think I’m a lap dog. I love to snuggle on the couch and give kisses and rest my head on your chest while I sleep.
