ADOPTED!!

Name: Lacey
Age: 4 years old
Breed: St Bernard

This beautiful and soulful girl is Lacey, a 4 yr old Saint Bernard that was surrendered due to pyometra. She was previously adopted but as she became more comfortable she was more difficult for her owner to walk.

She is great with cats and kids. She can live happily with other dogs once she gets introduced properly. Dogs on walks are another story – she is improving with a slip lead and redirection using treats, but she will bark and pull / lunge when seeing other dogs. It IS possible for her to make canine friends for sure, it just needs to be in a controlled way.

Lacey absolutely adores people, she just wants all the love possible from everyone. Her size and bark can be intimidating, but she doesn’t bark at passerby’s or even when people come over, only at other dogs on walks.

She thinks she’s a lapdog and will jump in bed/ on the couch with you for snuggles. Lacey is housetrained and non destructive when left alone.

Her ideal home would be a country setting with lots of space to explore and enjoy. Her new family should be prepared to continue working on her leash manners and socializing skills.

Dogs: some
Cats: yes
Kids: yes

Lacey is fully vetted and Spayed.
