Hi my name is Chester! I’m a neutered 9.5 month old lab mix all the way from Texas!
I am the friendliest, most playful boy you can find. I always want to play (if I had it my way we would play 24/7). I love to chew, I mostly chew on my toys but from time to time I need to be reminded to only chew my toys (my foster sister has eyes on the back of her head she catches me every time!). My favorite toys are bones, balls and my Kong. I have recently learned the sit command and I respond to my name, I am very willing to learn other commands.
I have lots of energy and I love to run around at the dog park with other dogs and chase a ball, although I would do better as an only dog at home. I love going on walks and I walk really well.
Now let’s talk about my favorite time of the day, meal time! I love eating food and trying to find snacks. If you leave food out I will eat it. I prefer to eat my meals in my crate and I just need to learn to slow down (a slow feeder bowl or snuffle mat would help with that).
I am crate trained and house trained. I currently sleep in my crate at night and will occasionally go there to rest mid-day.
I will make the perfect family dog. I would best suit an active family that is energetic and can keep up with me during the day. I am very gentle and I love being snuggled. I can’t wait to meet my furever family!
