Name: Bittie
Age: 5 years
Breed: Boston Terrier
Hi everyone! My name is Bittie or Babete, but I respond to both. I am a 5 year old potato! Just kidding, I am a Boston terrier and a bit overweight. My foster parents are working on getting me to lose weight. They say I have already lost a few pounds, which are making my walks a lot easier.
My foster parents are happy that I am fully house trained. They always tell me how good a girl I am every time I do my business outside. I love my walks and am always so excited for them, I can barely sit and wait for my leash to be put on. I love long walks and will even run a little with you. I am walked 3 times a day, once in the morning, a nice long walk when my foster parents return from work and a shorter walk at night before bed time. I walk very well on leash.
I love attention from humans and will pull, sing and wag my tail like crazy until I reach them and they start petting me. I for sure do not like big dogs. They are scary and I must warn them to keep away. These are the only 2 times I pull on my walks. I love my humans and enjoy cuddling with them on the sofa. Their attention is all I want, so I do not really care for toys. They are ok, but the squeak, the plush, the throwing….eh, not for me. Just give me some pets and tell me you love me. I will be very happy with that.
I am overall a very quiet dog. Doorbells don’t bug me much, but if I hear a creak I will growl and give a muffled bark to alert my foster parents that something or someone is there.
I had a double cherry eye, which is fixed and I have been spayed as well. The vets say I am overall healthy and am up to date on vaccines. Apart from losing a few pounds, my foster parents recently discovered I have some allergies. They are thinking it is environmental cause food did not help it. I am currently on Apoquel to help me and it works really well.
Overall I am a very happy pup. Could you be my new furever home?
Bittie is up to date on vaccines and Spayed.
