Hi! My name is Odin and I am very sweet, quiet and super easygoing.

I am fully housetrained and don’t require a crate! I can be left alone for a few hours and I will patiently wait for you (probably in your spot). I occasionally bark/growl if there’s a noise on the other side of the door that i don’t recognize, but have gotten used to more noises since coming to my foster mom’s.

I have Hypothyroidism, which can cause my energy levels to be low sometimes. I take pills twice a day to help with this, which is ok because pills means treats, and i love treats! I had a mass removed on my back leg recently which is healing nicely.

I am pretty good on a lead. I can get distracted by smells and sounds and sometimes have to be reminded to stay on track and not pull. I love discovering new spots and going for walks as long as its not too hot (i overheat easily and always need water!).

I am friendly and love all people big and small, however I am easily stressed so a furever home with no other dogs or children would be ideal for me. When I get stressed out or bored I tend to over-lick my paws; this is something I’m working on. I haven’t had much experience with cats, but I am not phased at all by rabbits or groundhogs so I don’t expect a cat to be an issue.

I love playing fetch more than anything (I’d play fetch all day if I could, so boundaries are needed). I also love praise, pets and belly rubs but it takes me a while to get cuddly, so be patient. I know the following commands: sit, stay, lay down and no. My recall is not great, but if we’re playing fetch, I can go off-lead as I’ll always bring back the ball.
