Hi I’m Leroy!

I have a lot of Shih Tzu in me but we think I also have Terrier as I am not hypo and am a ball of energy! I didn’t have the greatest past but my future is looking bright!

I’ve been with my foster family for several weeks and have had a lot of fun showing them how I love to run and play and fetch but also really love to snuggle.

I’m really good with people and now know how to stay and sit when told. I’m starting to realize that people don’t want me to jump up on them when I’m so excited to meet them and so I’m learning to sit and meet people politely without jumping…. turns out, I’m pretty darn smart!!

I’m a quick learner and have learned to do my business outside. I’ve also learned how to walk well on leash without pulling too much (still a work in progress) and can run free at the dog park and run back to my foster mom when she calls me!

I sure LOVE the dog park, I love to run and play with all the other dogs, I’ve got energy to spare! I guess I’m just a really great package if you have a lot of love and energy to play with me and take me for walks. I would need a space to run daily so a fenced in yard is a must. I would be EXTRA happy to be able to continue to go to the dog park! I’d be good in a home with other dogs as long as the other dog is friendly and likes to play

I am looking for an active home to help burn my energy so I can thrive and be healthy and happy.
