Hi! My name is Jojo! I am a lovable 11-month old Chihuahua mix weighing in at a whopping 8 pounds! I am very playful, cuddly and affectionate. I LOVE getting attention from my humans and could cuddle and kiss you for days.
I am learning to share food and my toys with other dogs. I enjoy small dogs but I am too scared of big dogs to appreciate them and when I am scared I get noisy and growly. A home with another small dog (or no other pets) would be best for me.
When I moved into my foster parent’s house I was not house-trained but I have made great progress and am finally there! I will need ready access to a closed-in yard to do my business!
I am very smart and cuddly and love playing with my foster brothers who are young like me. I can get growly though when other kids come around if they crowd me or cuddle me too quickly – especially when I’m on my person’s lap.
I am very well behaved when there are clear boundaries in place. I am a fairly quiet dog unless the doorbell rings or a new friend arrives at my home and then I get bonkers excited! I heel well on walks, am great at recall and LOVE visiting new places with my owner. Take me anywhere – I am a traveler at heart.
I am learning to like my crate, where I sleep at night. I love playing fetch, which is pretty funny for a pint-sized dog like me. Some might say that I have a “little dog attitude”, but with the right amount of attention, training, discipline and love, I know I will thrive and quickly steal your heart.
