Shabbi is a 2year old Dane/Lab mix.

Have you ever heard “if I fits, I sits”? Well Shabbi never ever fits, but she always sits….and lays, and rolls all over you. She absolutely adores people and loves to be the centre of your affection. She often will come close for pets and do the classic Dane lean right into you. Her second favourite thing is cuddling up on the couch and resting her head on you. Unfortunately her favourite time to do this is after glugging down some water resulting in a soaking wet slobbery face.

Shabbi is also obsessed with her smaller 35lb blind foster fur bother and is so gentle and playful with him. She is very people and dog friendly but has trouble containing her excitement on leash so a strong grip is always necessary. She is very food motivated, eager to learn, and loves to please her humans which makes her a great training candidate.

Shabbi is great in the car, requires a detached home – as she has a booming bark/howl that alerts the whole neighbourhood or when someone is at the door. She will be good for a family that has big breed experience and dog savy kids, over 13.
