Hi, my name is Kodak.

I am a sweet dog that loves to play, snuggle and follow you everywhere. I like all dogs; big or small, excited or calm. I just want to say ‘hi’ to them while respecting their space. I also love meeting new people but I have been told that I can be like a bull in a china shop when I get excited.

My favorite game is to run after my ball and I am great at fetch. I will go in my crate for short periods but much prefer being free in the house and sleeping in my dog bed – or any bed! I am house trained, and will use pads, so can be trusted to be left alone in the house for short periods. I am however working on going outside for my bathroom breaks more. I can be vocal sometimes because I love to be the centre of attention and miss my people when they are not around.

I am excellent on leash and absolutely LOVE car rides.

I know – I sound pretty perfect right? I do have this one thing – I can be possessive of my high value treats (like a bone or special cooked meat etc…). Please don’t try to take it out of my mouth because I take exception to that. For this reason I think it’s best to live in a home without small kids.

I am fully vetted and neutered but do have epilepsy. I am taking medication (cost $70/month) to manage my epilepsy and I am happy to report that my seizures are few and far apart.

I know I will be an amazing buddy for someone and can’t wait for my chance for my own Happy Tail.
