Why hello there, My name is Finnegan! Don’t let my distinguished good looks and bow tie fool you, I am a sweet and playful pup, that is all about love and cuddles! I’m 3 years old, 48lbs and I came all the way from Texas. I was so incredibly scared when I arrived, but I quickly came out of my shell and my foster mom says I am the best little guy! I am completely housebroken, know how to sit and I’m working on stay and down (I’m a quick learner), I can be left alone and I’m nondestructive. I walk well on leash and I’m improving every day! When I see the people I love I get so excited and do a funny wiggle and my tail spins like a windmill! I was very underweight when I came into care, but I’m a great eater and already putting on weight. I’ve met lots of dogs at the dog park (and I have excellent manners) and love my doggy foster brother, but I would also be ok being the only dog. There are three little people in my foster home and I love them SO MUCH, though they are very dog savvy and gentle, so that would be my preference in my forever home too. I am a sensitive soul, so gentle correction is best! I feel so lucky to have this second chance at a great life.
