Hi, my name is Sophie.
I’m an alert and curious girl with a calm and quiet disposition. I went blind about six months ago but have adapted well to my new reality. My orientation and mobility are good and it only took me a day or two to learn my environment at my foster home.
I am happiest in a quiet home with no stairs unless you can give me a ride up and down- I only weight about 20 pounds. I also would like quick access to outside, as I need regular opportunities to go to the washroom.
I am very quiet in the house and rarely make a sound. I love to be close to my humans and always have a big tail wag when I’m getting their attention or hearing them close by. I don’t like being crated but do well in a sectioned off area of the home. I love to be under foot in the kitchen but it is best if I’m not allowed in there on my own since I might get stepped on. I am looking for a home with no small children or dogs. I can’t wait to join my furever family and make more happy memories.
