Hi! My name is Denver. I am a 7.5 year old male Yorkie.
I am a sweet, adorable, happy little Yorkie. If you are looking for a lap dog friend, I’m the one for you.
I know basic commands and will run to you with glee when you call my name. I will be patient while you put my leash on to go for walks. I prefer several short walks a day and love to be off leash in a fenced backyard where I can explore.
I love to play with my toys, especially the food puzzle. I am pee-pad trained and am also comfortable doing my business outside. I sleep in my crate at night and have spent time there when no one is home. I’m actually happier there then left in a room with the door closed. I’m a lone dog, other dogs scare me and I do not enjoy the company of kids. In a previous foster home, where I was cared for while recovering from bladder-stone surgery, I did nip at human hands examining me. I am very uncomfortable with the doorbell ringing or strangers at the door. I prefer to be safe in my crate if there are new people around.
