Hi! My name is CeeJay, I am a female, 3-year-old Doberman mix pup. I came all the way from Texas and I am ready to find my forever home! I am a very sweet, silly, affectionate girl, and I cannot get enough of cuddles and pets. I am fully housetrained, up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations, and will be adopted out on a spay contract.I love food, treats, and have even learned to sit. I like to snooze during the day, but I love my long evening walks where I can sniff and discover my neighbourhood. I am very curious about other dogs and think I would like to have a calm and confident dog-sibling to help me build my self-esteem. I can get quite anxious when my human leaves me, so I would be happiest in a home where there are always people around, or a dog friend to keep me company. Otherwise, I am very quiet and rarely bark! I will also need humans who can set boundaries to help me build confidence and independence. I can get frightened easily, so a quiet household in a suburban/rural neighbourhood would be best for me. I am still learning to trust other humans, especially men, but if I can approach them when I am ready, I will warm up soon enough! I am not too sure how I feel about cats yet, but I am very interested in squirrels, so probably better safe than sorry – I should be in a home with no cats.
