Hi ! My name is Bocci, I am a beautiful Bassett Hound/Chow Chow mix from Texas. I am about 4 years old and came to Canada in late October looking for a furever home. I am very food motivated, crate trained, love to give and receive affection. I especially adore neck and ear scratches. After just a week, I have my foster people wrapped around my paw. I enjoy a calm environment and I am very well behaved inside my foster home. Some might say I am an old soul but I also love keeping squirrels and chipmunks in check in the yard !. You will find me vocal with them and odd times when I find certain strangers startling. I am a smart pup as I know a few commands, like sit , leave it, and wait. However, I do need practice with some high value treats to sharpen my skills. I need to also work on loose leash walking, as I do love walks!. I love hanging out with older children while they play video games. I get a little nervous around new environments such as the vet and pet store, but I am pretty friendly with other dogs and people one on one. If you have a calm energy home and are looking for a relaxed canine companion then I might be the one for you! Love, Bocci
