Age: 2 years old
Meet Harley, aka Houdini, the escape artist, or we could say “Super Harley” faster than a speeding bullet, capable of leaping tall fences in a single bound. Her foster family is working on her training, and she is doing well as she is very food motivated, but she would definitely benefit from an obedience class, in particular a recall course, given her penchant for escaping. A securely fenced yard is a must for this little one.
Harley is a sweet, affectionate, 17 pound, 2 year old potcake from Barbados. She arrived in Canada at the beginning of March and was with a loving family but it just wasn’t the right fit for the family or Harley. Harley is an incredibly active girl and will need an active family. She would really benefit from another active dog in the home to keep her company and burn off some of her energy. She is crate trained but not destructive when she is left for short periods of time. She currently sleeps quietly all night long in bed with her foster mommy. Harley is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations.
Harley gets along well with all other dogs, loves doggie daycare, is not at all aggressive, is great with cats and knows to give them their space, and loves people and children, but older dog savvy kids would be best as she will run right over the little ones. She is fully house trained but will use a pee pad if you don’t notice her cues.
Are you the right family to give this loving girl her forever home?
