This sweet boy has travelled a long way to find his furever home. He is very sweet and friendly but can be a bit stubborn. He really doesn’t act like a typical Sharpei but more like an 8 month old puppy. He has lots of energy and we are currently working on his recall and crate training. While he is fine in the crate he does not like to go in it, ever. He is not very food motivated and not much of a toy chewer either. He is non destructive and great with all dogs big and small. He likes kids too although preferably no toddlers as he is exuberant. Merlot is super sweet and fun and affectionate. He could be in a home with other dogs or alone no problem. Even an apartment might be ok as he is pretty quiet, except when he’s sleeping as he saws logs for days. Breed experience is preferred as he does require regular maintenance with his ears and skin folds.
