Meet our newest foster dog Gemma She is a 7 month old hound/retriever mix who is mostly blind. She came to us from the shelter and we believe we had her brother in care several months ago (Tristan). She has pretty good recall, gets around well and seems to see shadows etc. She is very playful and super curious – a sweetheart that is friendly with people and good with dogs. We will be having her examined by our vet and she will then be ready for adoption.
How You Can Help
Helping Ottawa Dog Rescue meet it’s goals is EASY – you can look into:
- our “Foster Program“
- our “Virtual Fostering Program“
- “Adopting“
or simply by making a donation.
Based in Ottawa, Ontario, Ottawa Dog Rescue (also known as O-Town Dog Rescue) is a federally registered non-profit organization that is dedicated to saving the lives of dogs in need.
Our team of volunteers and our Board of Directors have one goal, and one goal only - to help match the dogs that come through our doors with the most loving foster and adoptive homes possible.
We look forward to helping you find the dog you want to give a "furever home" to.
