AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!! River is a gentle giant. He has the sweetest disposition and is great with people, cats, and dogs. This beautiful St. Bernard mix is house trained and crate trained. At 8 years of age, River is beginning to slow down but absolutely loves his walks. He does have some stiffness and a bit of lameness in one hind leg and will need to be on medication for pain management along with daily glucosamine supplements, but aging aside, he is in great shape!! Although he usually walks well on a leash, he is as determined as is he strong and does like to try to mount most dogs he meets. River is looking for a loving home with people who adore him, a nice yard to lounge in, and liver treats! Due to his size (122 lbs.), River is looking for a home without small children as he can get quite exuberant and knock them over without meaning to.
