Kahlua is a beautiful girl who has recovered from her encounter with a porcupine . She is a gentle and loving dog. And the high point of her day is when her foster Dad comes home and she gets to play and give hugs and kisses.
Once abused, over bred, and poorly fed, Kahlua is learning how to live in a house and will now can climb stairs and explore without fear. She loves everyone and will approach eagerly now for affection. She is good with dogs of all sizes. One of her favorite thing to do is chase her foster brother endlessly around the backyard. She is learning to play with toys , loves her food and treats and is quiet and clean in the house. She will go to the door and wait patiently to be let out. She is learning to walk well on lead with the help of a halti collar. She will come when called and is working on sit and stay.

She loves her people and loves being with them as part of the family. Kahlua is gentle but is very strong so shouldn’t be placed in a home with young children. She is gaining confidence daily and would benefit from having someone home most of the time or having a calm dog as a companion. She likes to spend time outside so a fenced yard is a must.

Kahlua is fully vetted, spayed and though she has mild arthritis it does not slow her down.

Her adoption fee $400
