This absolute doll face is Romeo and his name suits him to a T. He is a 4 year old boxer pug mix (the size of a boxer) who adores everyone he meets. He is awesome with people and kids and loves to play with other dogs. When he came into care he was suffering from allergy related skin issues and subsequent infections. We have placed him on special food, weekly medicated baths which he loves and Apoquel. Romeo’s yeast and bacterial infections have cleared up nicely and the allergy medication and food are keeping his itching in check. He is finally comfortable and his fur is growing back! Romeo will likely need to stay on a low dose of Apoquel indefinitely.
Romeo loves to go on walks and will happily run next to you if you go for a jog. Fetch and cuddling are his favourite ways to pass the time. Romeo is full of life and has a charming and quirky personality. He even does a morning dance when he wakes up! Romeo’s a love bug and will make a wonderful addition to a very lucky family!
